Halloween 2010

We went to Jacksonville for Halloween weekend. It was a well overdue trip. Todd and I hadn't been home in 2 months and that was WAY too long! We had an awesome family dinner at this thai restaurant, did a little shopping with momma, watching the dreadful Georgia/Florida game, celebrated with a halloween party at my sister Stef's house, and ended the weekend with a visit to the best church ever and a relaxing day watching the Jags - before hitting the dreadful i-10!

Mom, Bub & Alex hanging out front greeting the trick-or-treaters

My precious nieces and nephew, patiently taking a couple pictures - {eagerly awaiting the candy they would soon receive!}
Seriously, how stinkin' ADORABLE is he?

And the cutest trick-or-treater AROUND! :)

So BEAUTIFUL!! :)

I guess this is BIG news . . . .

The exciting months to come I mentioned in a previous post are mainly going to be consumed with our exciting news that . . . .
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!
We {Todd} threw the idea of building my dream home out the window. I don't think he was up for the stress! Anyways, we're so extremely excited to {almost} be moving in to our FIRST place! :) We are set to close Dec. 3rd

Here she is, {pretty} HuH??

I promise to post lots and lots about our new house and all the awesome things we are planning to do to it! :)

Stuffed Peppers

Since I'm on the recipe kick I have to rave about the AWESOME home grown peppers Todd's Aunt Jean gave us that helped prepare these stuffed peppers!

Cut the peppers down the side and remove all the seeds

Stuff them with a big scoop of cream cheese

Wrap them in big pieces of bacon and bacon until crispy!!

So YUMMY!

Dinner Recipe

We had Todd's Aunt Boo & Uncle Bob over for dinner one night - - -
On the Menu :
Chicken Alfredo with Pesto and Alfredo
&
Corn Casserole

Cook a whole chicken until tender and falling off bone. I seasoned with poultry seasoning, thyme, garlic salt, and anything else that looked good in the spice cabinet.

Here are the ingredients for the Ravioli dish. Super easy - Alfredo sauce, cream of mushroom, pesto, and frozen ravioli
First peel the chicken and set aside
Mix the Alredo and Cream of Mushroom together
Layer:
Alredo mix
Pesto
Chicken
Ravioli
THEN REPEAT ONCE

Best Corn Casserole EVER
1 can whole corn
1 can cream of corn
1 stick butter
8oz sour cream
1 box jif cornbread mix

Melt butter & add all other ingredients. Stir. Pour in greased casserole dish.
Bake on 350 for atleast an hour or until the entire casserole is firm

Bake the Ravioli dish until everything is bubbly!! Thanks mom for the awesome Pesto Ravioli creation - It was a HIT!!

ATL Bound!!

Todd and I love when we get the opportunity to visit Brent and Leslie in Atlanta. This October we made a visit up north! Having friends that live in different cities is great! It's like a mini-vacation with awesome company!

In our second life, we might consider being city dwellers.

We made it to an Atlanta Brave's playoff game, which was awesome! I hadn't been to a game since Todd's family took us to one when I was 14!

Love Him! :)

I spotted this pink Brave's bat, knowing Brent wouldn't be able to leave without it! Sure enough, little Addi now has her very first pink bat! If she's anything like her daddy or her uncle todd I'm sure she will have MANY MANY more where that came from!

Florida State Football

So I've finally found a pro {against all my cons} to living in Tallahassee . . . Florida State football games and more importantly FRIENDS coming to visit for games!

Stadium is gorgeous!

Chief Osceola!

Me & Kel before the game :)

Hello World

It seemed like Todd and I missed the memo on the whole {pregnancy} thing! Both of our best friends found out they were expecting, just months apart! After thinking and thinking and tons of contemplation, we decided to wait to jump on that tRaiN! {In all actuality, there was no thinking involved. . . definitely not an option for us two, not quite yet :) } Instead we'll keep spoiling our precious - sweet - angel of a dog - - Quixote!! We met both of their bundles of joy & spending time with them does make you think ;) {Brig don't get too excited!}

My best friend Brigid and her beautiful baby girl Shaylee {oh & studly hubby Bud}

Seriously, how stinkin' cute is she?

I love them both so much and can't wait to watch her grow and become a beautiful young lady like her mother

The Robinson's and their precious baby girl Addi

"Braxton, meet your future girlfriend Addi!" . . . I can tell he's excited about her already :)

Todd and I had the pleasure of having Brent, Leslie and Addi spend the week with us and we just adore her! We kinda adore her parents too ;)

Back Blogging

It's been some time since I've sat down in front of the keyboard to recollect our relentless, never-slowing-down life. But after hearing about my inability to keep up with blogging, I figured I would back blog some of what has happened in our lives over the last couple months, in preparation for the exciting months to come! :)

We celebrated a couple {special boys} Birthday's!!

Mr Zachary turned 6 this year . . . So crazy! I just love him SO!

Might be the coolest 6 year old I know! I mean, he might have the coolest parents I know! Seriously, who has a play house like that??

Love Muffin!

And Sweet Baby Braxton turned 1!! Is he not gorgeous? I might be a bit biased, but truthfully he's BEAUTIFUL!!
